CX-PRO Advanced
Moving Beyond CX Fundamentals to Enterprise-Level Thinking and Application
Understanding the fundamentals of Customer Experience is important. Making CX work across an organization is something else entirely.
Many organizations have people who understand journey mapping, Voice of the Customer, customer metrics, and other established CX practices. The greater challenge is connecting those disciplines across functions, influencing leadership, creating accountability, managing organizational change, and turning customer understanding into sustained action.
CX-PRO Advanced™ was designed to address that challenge.
The program moves beyond individual CX tools and methodologies to help participants understand customer experience as an interconnected enterprise system—one influenced by strategy, processes, employees, data, technology, leadership, organizational structure, and culture.
From CX Knowledge to Organizational Capability
CX-PRO Advanced is a ten-module development program for professionals who already possess foundational CX knowledge and are ready to think more broadly about how customer experience actually works within an organization.
The curriculum explores ten interconnected areas:
-
CX Strategy vs. Execution — Connecting CX aspirations with the organizational capabilities required to deliver them.
-
Enterprise Systems Thinking — Understanding CX through relationships, dependencies, feedback loops, and unintended consequences.
-
Journey Management at Scale — Moving beyond individual journey maps toward sustained, cross-functional journey management.
-
Measurement, Metrics & Business Value — Using evidence and measurement to understand performance and support better decisions.
-
Closed-Loop Systems & Accountability — Turning customer feedback and operational signals into action, ownership, and organizational learning.
-
CX Storytelling for Influence — Translating customer evidence into stories that engage leaders and motivate action.
-
Humanistic CX in an AI-Enabled World — Balancing technology, automation, data, and AI with human judgment, empathy, and customer needs.
-
Employee Experience as a CX Performance Engine — Understanding how employee conditions directly influence the customer experience.
-
Leading and Sustaining CX Change — Building the organizational commitment and capabilities required for lasting change.
-
Innovation & Future Experience Design — Looking beyond today's experience to anticipate and design what customers will need next.
Together, these topics help participants connect elements of CX that are too often treated as separate initiatives.
Learning That Continues Between Sessions
CX-PRO Advanced is deliberately different from a traditional lecture-based training program. Participants complete video lessons and supporting assignments before each live cohort session. Live time can therefore be devoted to what matters most: reflection, discussion, application, and shared learning.
The program follows a continuous learning cycle:
Learn → Reflect → Observe → Discuss → Synthesize
The Observe component is particularly important. Participants return to their everyday work between sessions and begin looking at their organization through the lens of what they have learned. They may recognize dependencies, barriers, behaviors, inconsistencies, or opportunities that previously went unnoticed.
They bring those observations back to the cohort, where different functional perspectives add another dimension to the learning.
The time between sessions therefore becomes part of the learning experience rather than simply time between classes.
The Power of the Cohort
CX rarely succeeds through the efforts of one department or one CX team. CX-PRO Advanced reflects that reality.
The program is particularly effective with small, cross-functional organizational cohorts whose participants bring different responsibilities and perspectives to the conversation.
Rather than discussing hypothetical organizations, participants can explore concepts within the context of the organization they share. One person's observation may reveal a connection another participant had never considered. A problem that appears isolated within one function may look very different when viewed as part of the larger enterprise system.
The facilitator's role is not simply to provide answers, but to challenge thinking, encourage exploration, connect ideas, and help participants learn from one another.
How the Program Works
The recommended organizational format combines independent learning with facilitated cohort sessions over several months:
-
10 advanced CX modules
-
Five monthly live cohort sessions, approximately two hours each
-
Two modules explored during each live session
-
Professionally developed pre-session video lessons
-
Reflective questions tied to participants' organizational realities
-
Practical application exercises
-
Knowledge challenges that reinforce key concepts
-
Facilitated peer and cross-functional discussion
-
Supporting readings and reference materials
-
A concluding capstone experience integrating learning from across the program
Spreading the experience across several months gives participants an opportunity to absorb new ideas, apply them to their work, observe what happens around them, and return with new questions and perspectives.
Who Is CX-PRO Advanced For?
CX-PRO Advanced is designed for organizations seeking to develop people who can think beyond individual CX projects and contribute to broader customer-centered change.
Participants may include CX practitioners, functional and business leaders, managers, change leaders, and other professionals whose decisions ultimately affect the customer experience.
The program is especially valuable for cross-functional groups, where different perspectives can help participants better understand how decisions and actions in one part of the organization influence experiences elsewhere.
Seeing the Organization Differently
The goal of CX-PRO Advanced is not simply to create people who know more about Customer Experience.
It is to develop professionals who see their organizations differently.
Participants learn to recognize connections others may overlook, ask better questions, challenge assumptions, use evidence more effectively, understand the human consequences of organizational decisions, and consider CX within the larger system in which it must operate.
Because lasting CX improvement requires more than knowing what to do.
It requires understanding what it takes to make CX work.
